👓 Edge#135: Self-Supervised Learning for Computer VisionÂ
The conclusion of our self-supervised learning series
In this issue:
we discuss Self-Supervised Learning for Computer Vision;
we explore SEER, one of the most powerful SSL models for computer vision ever built;
we cover Hugging Face library for computer vision, including such models as Vision Transformer, VisualBERT, and DeIT.Â
💡 ML Concept of the Day: Self-Supervised Learning for Computer VisionÂ
To conclude our series about self-supervised learning (SSL), we would like to cover one of the most exciting domains in the space: computer vision. It has been the most active area advancing SSL research. AI powerhouses such as Google Brain or Facebook AI Research (FAIR) have been pushing the boundaries of SSL in computer vision. However, despite all the effort, SSL in computer vision still lags progress compared to the NLP space. Â
